Overview
Psychological safety is the determining factor in effective, high-performing teams. Upwork estimates 22% of the workforce (36.2 million Americans) will work remotely by 2025. With ever-increasing numbers of remote teams working within a virtual environment, it is crucial to understand the subtle yet simple ways we can build a virtual workplace that is a safe space, allows for risk-taking, brainstorming, building trust, dependability, and where every person is a contributor. Remote teams and virtual meetings are here to stay in some form.
