Overview
ABOUT THE COURSE: This is an elementary level Japanese language course in which students will learn to read and write Japanese language in native script. After the completion of the course, students will be able to make bare minimum conversation from everyday life. Identifying objects, ask location, describe their hobby, do shopping, ask permission and deny it.Intended audience: Multidisciplinary StudentsIndustry support: Most Japanese Company

Week 1- Hiragana (Script 1), Katakana (Script 2), Self Introduction, Greetings, Combined Sounds and Long Sounds
Week 2- Elementry Sentence Patterns, Adjectives, Particle Ni, De, Kara
Week 3- Negatives Forms, Numbers, Volitional FormKanji 30
Week 4- Kanji -30, Adverbs, Sentence Patterns to express desires
Week 5- Continuous Form, Counters, Kanji 30
Week 6- Kanji 30, Sentence Patterns to deny permission and ask permission
Week 7- Kanji 30, Expressions to talk about everyday chores
Week 8- Everyday communicative Japanese
