Overview
The objective of this course is to provide a fundamental understanding of the various systems of a typical automobile.Course Outcomes: At the end of this course, the participant should be able to:1. acquire fundamental knowledge of the various systems of an automobile,2. associate the functions of each system with its design and layout, depict the various systems using simple schematics, and apply concepts learnt in core undergraduate courses to synthesize mathematical models of the various systems.INTENDED AUDIENCE: 3rd/4th year undergraduate and 1st year M.Tech./M.S./Ph.D. studentsPRE REQUISITES: Rigid Body Dynamics (done in 1st year BE), Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics
