Course Description
Overview
The course is designed and developed to suit the needs of those students who aim to appear for competitive exams with English Literature as their core subject. It will be useful for those who aspire towards acing competitive exams with literature in English as the main subject and/or want to pursue a higher academic degree, particularly as researchers, in India or abroad. The course includes major works, historical developments, sub-disciplines, movements and trends in English, American and also World literature. The participants will also gain an understanding about the key literary figures of all time and their contribution to their respective literary scene.INTENDED AUDIENCE : Literature, particularly in EnglishPREREQUISITES : Basic UG degree in Arts/HumanitiesINDUSTRY SUPPORT : All colleges/universities
