Overview
This course dwells about information products and services provided by libraries and information centres. The services like literature search service, abstracting services, referral service, CAS, translation service and document delivery service are discussed in detail.The basic objective of this course is to introduce the learners with the information consolidation and repackaging process. The web products and services are also discussed in detail. The course also elaborates on collaborative content development.After completing this course you will be able to know about different information products and services, and the process of designing these.
