Overview
With this online certificate program, you’ll gain a thorough understanding of the three distinct flows that create supply chain excellence in any company. Learn from hands-on projects and simulation exercises designed by faculty from the department of Supply Chain Management at Rutgers University. Syllabus
Course 1: Managing Product Flow
- In this course, you’ll focus on the flow of products in the Supply Chain. You will learn about lean principles, inbound and outbound product flow strategy, manufacturing and contracts, and logistics optimization as well as working in a simulated environment.
Course 2: Managing Information Flow
- In this course, you’ll explore the latest types of information infrastructures (like ERP systems, cloud computing, and blockchain) to manage risk and master production scheduling. You’ll learn the details of managing data between customers, suppliers, and your internal operations, and how to identify issues and design solutions within an information flow.
Course 3: Managing Financial Flow
- In this course, you’ll learn the financial flow’s impact on the supply chain. You’ll be introduced to the latest financial technology (FinTech) and important metrics like the Cash Conversion Cycle (CCC). You’ll study budgeting, inventory financing, cost modeling, and creating a financial operations plan.
