Course Description

Overview

Healthcare professionals are required to handle medical emergencies and crises. These situations require teamwork and evidence-based techniques. This course will teach physicians crisis resource management principles and the provision of Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) during cardiac arrest.

Introduction to Crisis Resource Management (47 minutes)
The Science of ACLS (50 minutes)
Ventricular Tachycardia/Ventricular Fibrillation (73 Minutes)
Pulseless Electrical Activity (PEA)/Asytole (80 Minutes)
Airway Management and Vascular Access (30 Minutes)
Symptomatic Bradycardia (42 Minutes)
Unstable Supraventricular Tachycardia (78 Minutes)
Post-resuscitation Management (28 Minutes)
