Overview

Monoprinting with the Gelli Plate is a *great!* way to learn about the beginning steps of printmaking as well as to create exciting, fun, expressive pieces of art. By using acrylic paint (or water based block printing ink) you will explore drawing and "painterly" styles of monoprinting as well as experiment with textures! After watching the step by step explanations and demonstrations of this fun, fast paced material, you will be creating your own monoprint as the course project!
