Overview
This class will cover how to build a site with weather information using HTML, CSS, and Javascript using an API call. APIs are great ways to get more functionality with a website, and they’re fun to use! In addition, the ability to use an API is an important skill for a web developer to have. No previous web development knowledge required.
You’ll learn:
- HTML basics
- CSS basics
- JavaScript basics (with jQuery and ES6)
- API calls
The class project is to build a weather site using the Open Weather API.
No prior web building experience is necessary.
