Learn from multi-published author-illustrator Claire Lordon as she teaches you how to thumbnail a children's book. Second in this three-part series, Claire will teach you how to create a storyboard with thumbnails. A storyboard is a tool used to show rough sketches of an entire book. This class covers the structure of picture books, learning to paginate a manuscript, creating a storyboard, and finally sketching a storyboard.
This class is perfect for anyone who loves illustrating, drawing, writing, and all who love children's books. Taking Part One of this series is not necessary but extremely helpful. While no prior experience is needed, it is helpful to come into the class with some drawing, character design, knowledge of picture books, and composition skills.
