Overview
Learn how illustrator Julia Bausenhardt creates a fresh and inviting food illustration with analogue and digital techniques. In this class, you’re going to learn her step by step process for a food illustration with hand-lettering elements, using your favorite sweet recipe.
You’re going to draw the ingredients for your recipe, choose one or several fitting lettering styles for your recipe title and text, and learn how to arrange everything into a coherent layout. After adding color and texture in Photoshop, you will have a finished illustration to share on They Draw And Cook, a website that celebrates illustrated recipes from all over the world.
By the end, you’ll have learned more about creating layouts, choosing lettering, and turning your drawings into a delicious digital illustration.
You’ll need basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop. This class is great for illustrators, designers and creative folks who want to explore food illustration.
