Overview
We'll explore basic principals of creating a Modern Folk Art illustrations with inks, gouache and Photoshop. We’ll begin with simple lines and continue with more intricate designs inspired by Eastern European folk art like Matryoshka (aka Nesting doll) and Firebird. After that, we’ll create a repeat pattern in Photoshop using Offset filter and then will work on beautiful Matryoshka postcard in Khokhloma style.
By the end of this 100-minute class, you’ll learn tips and tricks of Folk art and will be able to incorporate it into your work. Both advanced and beginner creatives can find valuable insights in this class.
