Everything you need to know about painting shadows

Learn the basics of shadows and gain the ability to create realistic light and shadows in any painting. I have outlined 3 observations and 3 reminders, using which you will always make perfect shadows!! This class is for all skill levels, perfect for beginners who don’t know from where to start from. This class is for all the painting mediums. I have primarily used waterecolours and digital art.

I have discussed the technical part in highly simplified and easy way, executing the basics in two final project and one bonus lesson.

After completing this class you will get to know what is shadow, parts of shadow I.e tonal value, shadow in basic shapes sphere, cube, cylinder and cone (final class project 1), how direction of light affects angle of shadow (final class project 2).

In Bonus Class I am sharing a new style of line and wash illustration which I have developed over the time.
