Drawing a Comic Book Character - Pose to Rendering
Offered By: Skillshare
Course Description
Overview
In this class you will learn how to draw poses from your imagination by using basic shapes first. We will first go over how to draw the 3 Main Masses of the body with a Stereometric approach. Then we will practice drawing the torso from various angles. You will also learn the benefits of sketching your poses with ink. This can be a great way to spark ideas and speed up the drawing process.
Finally we will create a Comic Book Character together! You will work along side me as we create a pose, refine it and then develop our character concept!
( I have also attached a few male and female poses for you to practice with. Make sure to experiment and use lots of style over the top of them. Also, let me know if you like addtional resources like these to make the class a better exprerience for everyone! )
I hope you enjoy this class and I can't wait to see what you come up with!
Sincerely,
Robert A. Marzullo
