Digital Oil Painting in Procreate: Painting Landscapes

Are you a traditional artist looking to hop into digital mediums or a digital artist looking to learn some new painterly techniques? Then, this class is for you.

 I’m going to guide you step by step on how I made this landscape painting.

You can also bring your own image to the class and follow along!

What you will learn:

• Import an image as a reference
• Create an “oil” wash
• Start a sketch
• Work with layers
• Create a color palette
• Block in colors
• Add detail
• Apply a canvas effect that will tie it all together.

What you’ll need:

• An iPad
• Apple Pencil or stylus
• Procreate app
