Learn how to design your own stationery collection
Can you imagine designing motifs and patterns for your own product line? The graphic designer Agatha Vieira will show you her process and inspirations to create a beautiful and cohesive collection.
In this course, Agatha will teach you the basics of how to build your own collection. You will use the power of design to answer a simple question: What does the world need more of? You will design a stationery set inspired by your wish for the future as your creative concept.
- You will understand more about creating a collection and you will apply different designs to three products or more, which you can use in your portfolio and maybe even license it!
- You will start the course discovering a bit more about stationery, Agatha's inspirations, and her creative approach and work process.
- You will discover how Agatha approaches the creation of a collection from her inspiration phase, creation of a visual moodboard, conceptualization, and development.
- You will learn how to work alongside Procreate and Photoshop, how to create quick repeat patterns in Procreate, and finally, how to finalize your designs utilizing mockups.
The skill of making a collection is useful whether you work professionally as a graphic designer or you are just a stationery lover!
This class is for students who already know the basics around Adobe Photoshop and Procreate and want to learn how to create a cohesive and well-balanced collection to add to their portfolio.
You will need a basic knowledge of drawing and illustration, as well as an Ipad with Procreate and a computer with Adobe Photoshop.
