Course Description

Overview

This is an important class for every level artist because it gets you motivated to draw. I go through each of the 5 steps that are imperative to creating an amazing sketchbook. Learn to 'get started' if you are in a creative block or are new to artist's sketchbooks and want to learn how to go about starting and continuing your sketchbook... even on a daily basis.

I cover what type of sketchbooks that are available and the best uses for them. I explain new drawing ideas to get you motivated. I discuss and demonstrate what important details that you can include in your sketchbook. And my favorite section... "Why do you need a camera?" which lets you in on the wonderful observation skills you can acquire by just looking and drawing your own personal aspects of your surroundings.

The sketchbook is not just about drawing and working out ideas visually but it's also a personal diary recording your immediate environment. It's really a truthful and exciting journal that you will certainly not want to stop creating and the drawings will continually enhance your artistic skills.

It's a 'must do' class that you will find very rewarding. Enroll and enjoy the journey!
