Creating a Mushrooms Illustration Using Watercolours & Gouache | Natural History Illustration

In this class I'll show you how to capture the shapes and colours of mushrooms using watercolour and gouache. You'll be creating your own mushroom illustrations and by the end of the class you should be able to illustrate any mushroom of your choice. As with everything you will improve with practice, don't be discouraged if it takes a few tries to get the results you want. Enjoy the process! 

What You'll Need 

- Watercolour Paper (smooth hot-pressed is recommended) 

- Gouache & Watercolours  (e.g. Winsor & Newton, Schmincke, Arteza)

- Tracing Paper 

- Pencils 

- (Putty) Eraser

- Water & Kitchen Paper
