Course Description

Overview

Would you like to create fun patterns easily for sketching, doodling, and lettering?

I know what it feels like to be a beginner and wonder, "What patterns do I start with?”

Some artists make it look so easy and effortless.

I think the difference is they already have an internal memory of patterns they can use at any time. This is often called a "visual vocabulary."

In this class, I'm going to walk you through 88 different patterns to give you a foundation to start from when creating patterns in your artwork.

Once you have an understanding of these basic patterns that come from lines, shapes, and botanicals; you can create many things using what I teach you in this class.

Whether or not you're using the patterns for your doodles, your planner, your sketchbook, or commissioned work; these patterns will be a great tool you can add into your artistic toolbox.

It's super easy and anyone can take this class.

All you need is paper and a pen or pencil. You can use whatever supplies you have around home to have some fun creating patterns and learning new ways to take your doodles, sketches, and lettering to a new level.

If you want to add more patterns into your artwork, let's get started.
