Beginning Web Design for Creatives, Visual Learners, and Everybody Else

Even if you've never written a word of code in your life, you can create your own webpages. Like any other skill, you start with the very basics and build on them. 

Adding features in increments is how software developers build websites and apps. When I teach these principles to my students I use the same approach.
