Course Description
Overview
This course is an introductory study of the function of language, math, and science learning in early childhood educational programs. Emphasis is placed on the development of language and science curriculum activities, basic teaching skills, guidance techniques, equipment, and materials. Students select appropriate activities for a variety of age groups and maturity levels based on child development theories and concepts. This course is designed for Child Development majors and may be used to partially fulfill requirements for Title 22 licensing and child development permits.
