Overview
Information literacy is introduced and practiced. Topics include how information and misinformation are produced, valued, organized, shared or suppressed; the nature of research and finding information; notions of authority and credibility; and the use of information in creating new knowledge and participating ethically in communities of learning. Students critically analyze the information ecosystem and practice research skills.
