Overview
We are facing enormous environmental and social challenges. Solving these will require all of us to understand the issues as well as actively addressing them. Businesses have a key role to play in moving towards a sustainable future. This course explores the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and provides insights on how to integrate sustainability into business strategy and operations.
Meet practitioners who have successfully transformed and integrated sustainable business practices in large global organizations and learn about their experience. In week 1, we’ll take a look at core concepts and the foundations of building a sustainability strategy. Topics discussed include materiality, governance, investor interaction, and reporting. In week 2, we’ll focus on specific sustainability issues, such as climate challenge, supply chain, and the circular economy, and look at possible corporate actions.
You’ll learn how to make sustainability a core part of your corporate strategy and how to execute such a strategy to achieve positive impact.
