Overview
Preventing injury is a key factor to achieving greatness in sports. The difference between success and failure in sports can depend on a simple factor: correcting a poor training technique. This course, Sports Injury Prevention, takes both a scientific and a practical approach to reducing sports-related injuries. Students will learn how to record musculoskeletal injuries, perform baseline measures, identify risk factors, examine injury mechanisms, develop interventions, and assess implementation strategies. The course welcomes anyone interested in preventing sports injuries, including athletes, coaches, trainers, and those involved with sports businesses.
