Education Research that Matters: Doing Research in Your Learning Community
Offered By: University of Birmingham via FutureLearn
Course Description
Overview
Learn how to analyse research data and communicate your research findings
Many teachers want to learn new knowledge and methods to improve their teaching, but it can be hard for someone outside of research communities to perform research of their own.
On this course, you will learn how to do your own education research and build supported communities of education research practice.
You will explore research design and learn about tools to help you do research focused on a series of common teaching challenges.
You’ll be supported in your research by expert university researchers who will help you find, analyse, and communicate your data.
This course is designed for school teachers and educators in non-school settings who’d like to learn how to undertake and use educational research.
