This fully online program enables students to take a deep dive into civil engineering and choose from 3 interdisciplinary tracks.
- Sustainable Water (SW)
- Infrastructure, Resiliency and Sustainability (IRS)
- Smart Mobility (SM)
Within these tracks, learners will be exposed to concepts in environmental engineering, hydraulic/hydrologic engineering, structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, construction engineering, transportation engineering, geomatics engineering, architectural engineering and materials engineering.
Syllabus
The Master of Science in Civil Engineering requires 30 credit hours of coursework. Our courses are 1, 2 or 3 credit hours.
Suggested Curriculum Breakdown:
- Graduate Applied Math and Statistics Courses -- 6 credit hours
- Civil Engineering courses -- 15 credit hours
- Technical electives (Engineering, Mathematics, or Science courses) -- 9 credit hours
Other configurations are possible: Final plan of study must be approved by the student’s advisory committee.
