Principles of Load Forecasting in Google Sheets
Offered By: Coursera Project Network via Coursera
Course Description
Overview
By the end of this project, you will understand the principles of load forecasting used by power companies to balance the supply and load demand of energy. You will also be able to conduct a load forecast in Google Sheets.
To do this, you will work in the free-to-use software Google Sheets while exploring how load forecasting provides the building block for planning efforts decades into the future. You will also understand how load forecasting influences more than energy planning efforts because it also informs financial and operational planning and rate setting by governments through weather normalization techniques.
Note: This course works best for learners who are based in the North America region. We’re currently working on providing the same experience in other regions.
