Windows Virtual Desktop on Microsoft Azure: Plan a WVD Architecture
Offered By: Pluralsight
Course Description
Overview
Explore the design and architecture activities that begin a new Azure Virtual Desktop implementation in this course.
While the daily activities in Azure Virtual Desktop administration usually focus on virtual machine maintenance, it is the initial design and architecture activities that can make the biggest difference in how much the environment costs. It is for this reason that this learning path begins with an extensive discussion on planning the architecture of your AVD environment. In this second course out of six, Azure Virtual Desktop: Plan an AVD Architecture, you'll begin with a look at the assessment process, taking a deep look at the questions you'll want to ask yourself about your existing physical and virtual assets. Then, you'll use those answers to design your host groups and recommend configurations for VM performance and capacity. Next, you'll explore the network requirements, both in terms of connectivity as well as capacity and performance. Finally, you'll dig into designs for the user identity and user profile technologies that your AVD infrastructure requires before clicking any buttons in the Azure UI.
