Initial installation and configuration are only the beginning. This course will teach you the skills necessary to ensure that your servers continue to perform at optimal levels, while improving the reliability and stability of your organization.
Improperly maintained servers can reduce the productivity of your operations, introduce security vulnerabilities, and increase the overhead on your resources. In this course, Windows Server Administration Concepts: Maintenance, you’ll learn to maintain the health and reliability of your servers, and to ensure they continue to operate even after a disaster. First, you’ll formulate a troubleshooting methodology for Windows Server 2019 to better handle problems when they arise. Next, you’ll examine the key steps in the startup process to be able to identify the cause of boot failures or freezes. Then, you’ll learn to maintain business continuity by formulating and implementing a disaster recovery plan. Finally, you’ll learn about Windows servicing and standard update management to keep all of your systems up to date. When you’re finished with this course, you’ll have the skills and knowledge of Windows Server 2019 features needed to maintain a stable and reliable implementation.
