VMware Workspace ONE: Introducing the Cloud-based and On-premises Architectures
Offered By: Pluralsight
Course Description
Overview
Explore the SaaS and on-premises architectures of VMware Workspace ONE, powered by AirWatch, in this introductory course.
Have you been belly-buttoned to bring control around your company's desktops and mobile devices? With employees scattered around the county, around the country, or around the world, have you been tasked with ensuring better data security by mandating better device security? VMware Workspace ONE, powered by AirWatch and delivered as a service, might just be that solution. In this first course out of seven, VMware Workspace ONE: Introducing the Cloud-based and On-premises Architectures, you'll get an introduction to VMware's Identity Manager and Workspace ONE UEM services, the latter of which was formerly called AirWatch. First, you'll take a look at the SaaS and on-premises architectures. Next, you'll discover how they integrate the identity management and unified endpoint management functions into a single solution which can manage virtually any device anywhere. Finally, you'll also explore the lab environment, the virtual machines and other resources you'll want to build if you plan on following along. By the end of this course, you'll be able to take your first steps toward building a new or managing an existing AirWatch environment.
