Unreal Engine 4 is one of the most commonly used games engines throughout several industries. Included within the engine is a powerful particle system. In this course, Unreal Particle System Fundamentals, you'll learn the fundamentals of the Cascade particle system editor in Unreal Engine. First, you'll learn all about the interface. Next, you'll move through some of the modules and functionality they can provide. Finally, you'll wrap up the course by learning about beam emitters and anim trails. To do all of this, you'll be walking through the creation of a AAA explosion effect and a lightning sword effect. This will cover some of the fundamental artistic elements and decisions that go into creating robust particle systems.
