Overview
This course is for web designers and developers who have learned the basics of HTML and want to take their knowledge to the next level in terms of learning how to correctly utilize semantic elements.
It can be confusing to decide which HTML element to use, especially when there are around 100 options. In this course, Semantic HTML, you'll learn the how and why of using different semantic elements. First, you’ll explore text elements that group content and add meaning to words and phrases. Next, you’ll discover how to use semantic elements to enhance forms and tables. Finally, you’ll start sectioning elements, document outlines, and how they can improve the accessibility and search engine optimization of websites.
