Throughout these lessons we'll explore the principles of realistic creature creation using nature and real animals as our reference base. Each decision we make on our creature will reflect real world attributes, and take into account many characteristics of real animals and their unique functions. We'll delve into a new way of thinking about creature concepts and sculpting, utilizing a host of advanced to moderately advanced techniques to help our form along. In the end you'll be able to process any creature you need to produce, even if you've never attempted a creature before. This tutorial does assume some knowledge of ZBrush, and human anatomy is present. This tutorial is also designed as a companion tutorial to whatever piece you're currently working on, and can help not only push your designs further than you thought possible, but also introduce a new and professional way of thinking about creatures, animals and design. Software required: ZBrush 4r2 or above, Photoshop, Keyshot. .
