Creating a Prototype for Eyewear in Rhino
Offered By: Pluralsight
Course Description
Overview
Throughout these lessons we create a production ready 3D model of a pair of sunglasses. Software required: Rhinoceros 3D Version 5.
Throughout these lessons we create a production ready 3D model of a pair of sunglasses. We'll discuss a few basic fit parameters and associated reference geometry to create a schematic model to establish the desired frame fit. Then we'll evolve the fit model into a more stylish, sophisticated production model created with advanced control point manipulation editing techniques. Along the way we'll cover various tools to ensure that the geometry is suitable for export to rapid prototyping for real-world evaluation. Software required: Rhinoceros 3D Version 5.
