Producing Striking Caricatures in Photoshop

We'll begin this training by analyzing some reference photos that we'll use for the creation of our caricature. Software required: Photoshop CC 14.0.

We'll begin this training by analyzing some reference photos that we'll use for the creation of our caricature. We'll also discuss some of the defining facial characteristics that stand out to us and how we can exaggerate them. We'll begin the process of exaggerating these specific features by starting with a rough sketch. Following this we'll begin to block in values and blend them to establish the forms of these exaggerated features. We'll continue by layering on additional details like wrinkles, hair, skin pores, and facial spots to bring the essence of our caricature to life. Finally, we'll add some final details to make our caricature really pop. After watching this tutorial, you'll have the inspiration to capture the essence of any person through the form of a caricature. Software required: Photoshop CC 14.0.
