Overview
This course introduces the novice user to Microsoft Project, and provides the user with the basic key concepts required in order to successfully get to grips with and use the software.
The course introduces the user to both Microsoft Project and key project management concepts and terminology. The course is designed to teach the student some very basic project management theory, and how to use Microsoft Project in order to create their first project schedule. Once the project is created then we discuss the options for sharing salient project information with the project stakeholders. This course covers the following PMBOKĀ® Process Groups: Planning, Executing, Monitoring and Controlling. This course covers the following PMBOKĀ® Knowledge Areas: Project Scope Management, Project Time Management, Project Human Resource Management, Project Communications Management.
