Alchemy Synth Fundamentals in Logic Pro
Offered By: Pluralsight
Course Description
Overview
Have you ever opened a synth instrument in Logic or another DAW and been overwhelmed by the sheer mass of knobs and dials? This course will teach you how to use them like a pro in Logic's Alchemy synth. Software required: Logic Pro X-10.2.4 or later.
Many digital audio workstation users who may be proficient on the software often don't understand how to really use a synth beyond just selecting a preset. In this course, Alchemy Synth Fundamentals in Logic Pro, you'll learn the different types of synthesis that Alchemy performs in Logic Pro X. First, you'll learn what a synthesizer is and what it does. Next, you'll learn how to manipulate and synthesize sounds using effects and processing. Finally, you'll learn how to create and use unique custom sounds that will set your music apart from everyone else's. Although this course is taught in Logic Pro X with Alchemy, the audio concepts are applicable to all synths, and by the end this course, you'll know how to use synth instruments to their full advantage in Alchemy. Software required: Logic Pro X-10.2.4 or later.
