This course starts with some fundamental modeling techniques, and takes you all the way to a finished promotional photorealistic still shot for a fictional brand of water. One of the most important aspects commercial 3D work revolves around product visualization. Not only does the brand or client have more control over the final image, but it can often be cheaper and serve as a better alternative to traditional photography and film. In this course, Creating a Photorealistic Beverage Ad in LightWave 3D, you will produce a promotional photoreal still shot for a fictional brand of water. First you'll learn how to model all the geometry you need to render a studio lighting setup. Next you'll use Lightwave 3D's nodal surfacing to create a glass material. Finally, you'll learn how to balance the render settings in order to achieve clean results in a reasonable amount of time. By the end of this course, you'll have a strong understanding of the elements required to create and render a studio lit, photorealistic product. Software required: Lightwave 3D 2015, Photoshop CC 2015.
