Overview
Ionic allows you to build apps using the skills you already possess. In addition to mobile, Ionic also lets you build progressive web apps and desktop applications. In this course, we will build an app for all the platforms supported by Ionic.
In the last few years there has been a rise in the frameworks that allow JavaScript developers to create mobile apps. Traditionally, this has been reserved for developers proficient in Java or Swift. In this course, Ionic: Getting Started, you will learn the foundational knowledge necessary to build apps with Ionic for a variety of platforms. First, you will learn what Ionic is and how it works. Next, you will discover how to build mobile apps using Ionic. Finally, you will explore how to create a Progressive Web App and desktop application. When you are finished with this course, you will have the skills and knowledge of Ionic needed to create your own apps.
