The goal of this in-depth course is to give you a strong foundation in Blender's powerful rigging toolset. We'll begin by learning about the basics of rigging like parenting, and move on to bone placement, the importance of bone orientation, how to utilize shape keys to create basic facial expressions for a character, and how to create corrective shape keys to fix deformation issues on a rig. We'll also learn about Blender's Weight Painting tools, and how to set up drivers to create a more animator-friendly rig, and how to use Blender's mirroring functions to speed up the entire rigging process.
