Course Description

Overview

You may think product launches are all about the Marketing team, but how would they even know what your product is? This course will teach Product Managers like you on how you can orchestrate a product launch plan for your cross-functional team.

Launching a product is not as straightforward as you think. There can be dozens of people that needs to be informed and involved in the launch process, and marketing is just one of them. As the Product Manager, it is your responsibility to make sure everyone in the company knows what your product is and how it’s going to be launched. In this course, Exploring Product Launch, you’ll learn how to orchestrate your cross-functional team into launching your product smoothly and effectively. First, you’ll learn what a Product Launch Plan is and how it’s different from the go-to-market strategy from the Marketing team, or from the Product Spec which you already have. Next, you’ll discover what a Product Launch Deck and Checklist are and how these will help you navigate through the needs of your team to effectively launch. Finally, you’ll learn how to create your own Product Launch Plan, how to communicate it and manage any updates when needed. When you’re finished with this course, you’ll have the skills in knowledge of creating Product Launch Plans needed to make your product launch a success.
