In this tutorial, we will learn about creating destructive particles and fragmenting models. Throughout these lessons we will learn how to create destruction with combining thinkingParticles and RayFire. First, we will have a quick introduction to thinkingParticles, covering the main tools, then we will try to destroy our animated character. After that, we will add more debris and dust particles, and lastly, we will create dust simulation using FumeFX and render everything out. Software required: 3ds Max 2012, Thinking Particles, RayFire, FumeFX.
