Data Literacy: Essentials of Azure HDInsight
Offered By: Pluralsight
Course Description
Overview
This course will teach you the principles of data lake, how storage architecture like data lake could be used to store massive chunks of data, and how it could be enabled using Azure Cloud Infrastructure.
Hadoop is an excellent framework to manage and process big data, but it comes with its own challenges which get resolved by the state-of-the-art managed service of Azure Cloud called HDInsight. In this course, Data Literacy: Essentials of Azure HDInsight, you’ll learn the basics of Hadoop and the challenges in Hadoop that could be overcome by HDInsight. First, you’ll explore what big data is. Next, you’ll discover the mechanism to store these huge chunks of data. Finally, you’ll learn how to create an HDInsight scalable cluster on Azure. When you’re finished with this course, you’ll have the skills and knowledge of what a data lake architecture is and how to create and manage it on a cloud like Azure.
