Creating an Emotionally Intelligent Workplace Culture
Offered By: Pluralsight
Course Description
Overview
This course will help leaders develop emotionally intelligent workers and cultivate an emotionally healthy workplace environment.
One of the primary responsibilities of a leader is setting the tone for a workplace - putting employees in a position not only to succeed, but to thrive. One often overlooked component of this responsibility, though, is helping to protect employee’s emotions, in addition to leveraging their productivity. This course, Creating an Emotionally Intelligent Workplace, helps narrow this gap, guiding leaders through the process of creating attitudes, policies, and opportunities to help workers build self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship management strategies. First, you will learn how to create a plan for an emotionally intelligent work environment. Next, you will discover how to inspire employees to increase their emotional intelligence. Finally, you will explore how to lead with emotional intelligence. By the end of this course, you will know how to spot problematic behaviors in the workplace and how to confront them directly.
