Course Description

Overview

To put Windows 10 to work in an organization, we must configure the core services that run applications, provide physical storage for data, protect access to that data, network it all together, and manage it remotely. This course shows how to do it.

Turning Windows 10 into a productivity powerhouse means setting up core services to facilitate useful work. In this course, Configuring Windows 10 Core Services, you will learn foundation knowledge of Windows core services and how to manage them. First, you'll discover how to set up data storage and protect that storage with permissions and access conditions. Next, you'll learn about deploying and configuring applications, both modern and traditional, in terms of startup, storage, and performance. Finally, you'll explore the basics of network configuration for both local and external connections, including IP configuration and name resolution. When you're finished with this course, you will have the skills and knowledge to manage Windows 10 over a network. After deployment and implementation, configuring core services lets you put Windows 10 to work.
