Building Packet Tracer Labs for CCNA Study: Network Protocol Interactions
Offered By: Pluralsight
Course Description
Overview
In this course you’ll learn to use Cisco’s Packet Tracer network simulator to practice configuring the technologies and protocols needed to understand data networking concepts as well as prepare to take the Cisco CCNA certification exam.
Cisco’s Packet Tracer software is a free network simulation software that allows learners to have access to a Cisco networking lab simulation anywhere they have access to a computer. Packet Tracer is an amazing utility for learners to practice both configuring devices, as well as learning how to look for correct network operation as well as troubleshoot issues on the network. In this course, Building Packet Tracer Labs for CCNA Study: Network Protocol Interactions, you’ll learn to build and use labs in the Cisco Packet Tracer network simulator in order to prepare for the Cisco CCNA certification exam. First, you’ll build labs to better understand the operation and configuration of layer 2 technologies including Etherchannel, HSRP, and Spanning Tree Protocol. Next, you’ll move on to building labs to practice creating and testing access control lists. Finally, you'll practice implementing network address translation. By the end of the course, you’ll be able to build your own labs to practice networking technology and prepare for the concepts and objectives required to successfully pass the Cisco CCNA exam.
