Bash is the GNU Project’s shell for command execution, scripting, and automation. This course will teach you how to use Bash and Linux commands for security management.

Managing security operations on UNIX and Linux systems requires an understanding of command line tools. In this course, Scripting for Security with Bash, you’ll learn to use Bash and Linux commands to manage some common security tasks and understand how scripts can automate those tasks. First, you’ll explore managing file permissions. Next, you’ll discover how to create, modify, and delete users and groups. Finally, you’ll learn how to use SSH to interact with remote systems.
