AWS SysOps Admin: Implement Scalability and Elasticity
Offered By: Pluralsight
Course Description
Overview
This course will teach you how to design applications on AWS that can elastically scale to meet changing levels of demand, focusing on the “Reliability and Business Continuity” domain of the AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate exam.
Simply deploying your application to the AWS cloud does not guarantee that it will be scalable or responsive to changing levels of demand. In this course, AWS SysOps Admin: Implement Scalability and Elasticity, you’ll learn how to use AWS tools and services to implement scalability and elasticity. First, you’ll explore the differences between horizontal and vertical scaling and see how to implement scalable, loosely coupled architectures on AWS. Next, you’ll discover how to use AWS Auto Scaling to achieve scalability and elasticity that is responsive to changing levels of demand. Finally, you’ll analyze how to incorporate scalable and elastic databases into your applications, implementing caching strategies where appropriate to maintain high performance. When you're finished with this course, you'll have the skills and knowledge of a SysOps administrator needed to answer questions from the “Reliability and Business Continuity” domain of the AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate exam.
