Backup and restoration are core parts of the AWS SysOps Administrator–Associate exam. This course covers concepts and practice questions for: snapshots, backups, restoration, versioning, lifecycle, S3 cross-region replication, and disaster recovery.

Today more than ever, cloud solutions must be reliable and must support an organization’s business continuity plan. In this course, AWS SysOps Admin: Implement Backup and Restore Strategies, you’ll learn about the AWS services and approaches you can use for backup and restoration. First, you’ll explore how to automate snapshots and backups, as well as restore databases. Next, you’ll discover S3 versioning, lifecycle rules, and cross-region replication. Finally, you’ll learn about the AWS services you can use to execute disaster recovery procedures. When you're finished with this course, you'll have the skills and knowledge of a SysOps administrator needed to answer questions from the “Deployment and Provisioning” domain of the AWS Certified SysOps Administrator-Associate exam.
