Overview
This course will teach you how to use Ansible and Ansible Galaxy to deploy New Relic APM agents, and how to update those agents automatically when updates and patches are released.
Ansible and New Relic together provide streamlined software configuration management and application performance monitoring. In this course, Integrating Ansible with New Relic, you’ll learn to deploy and update New Relic APM and infrastructure agents consistently across a large number of VMs. First, you’ll explore Ansible, its role-based model, and its corollary - Ansible Galaxy. Next, you’ll discover New Relics’ Java and infrastructure agents. Finally, you’ll learn how to deploy these agents at scale using Ansible. When you’re finished with this course, you’ll have the skills and knowledge of leveraging Ansible’s features needed to deploy and effectively manage New Relic agents at scale.
